Two Queenstown hotels crowned at World Luxury Hotel Awards

Eichardt’s Private Hotel and The Spire Hotel (both falling under The Imperium Collection’s banner of luxury hospitality offerings in Queenstown) snatched up two new titles at the 2016 World Luxury Hotel Awards held in Qatar last week.

Eichardt’s Private Hotel was crowned New Zealand’s Best Luxury Suite Hotel and The Spire Hotel was named New Zealand’s Best Luxury Romantic Hotel.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards mark a huge achievement for The Imperium Collection as well as Queenstown as a destination (which is fast becoming an ultimate luxury escape for discerning travellers across the globe).

Eichardt’s owner Andrew Cox is thrilled with the win, commenting the Eichardt’s team is “truly humbled to have won this award – and primed to increase our investment with the opening of the exclusive Penthouse and two further Suites to the offer later this year.”

“We’re honoured to be in the thick of the action and helping to cement Queenstown’s reputation as the ultimate international travel destination.”
